Here some impressions from today's tournament played with 2.000 points:

 

 

 

I became 15th of 30 participants. Not a great victory but I had a lot of fun and beer. Additionally, I won the competition for the Best Painted Army.

Hot, hotter, Meltaguns

The last 6 Guardsmen with Meltaguns - finally finished. I thought they'd never stop demanding paint. I hope I'll never need more than 10.

I promised to post new pics of the finished 1st Battle Psyker and here they are:

Finally! The 2nd Psyker is finished and I'm really glad to post this. It was an awful paintjob and I'm not totally content with that bastard yet but that'll do for now.

He'll only be played when I set up a whole 10-man Psyker Squad. Here are the 4 new ones, already based:

Still a lot of stuff to paint untill saturday but I'm confident.

First Battle Psyker

It was a lot of fun to paint this mini and so I finished it in nearly one go. I haven't varnished it yet, so I'm open for critique and and suggestions for improvement.

Shotgun- and Meltagun-Guardsmen

I get ahead quite good in the last days and so I could finish the 6 Shotgun- and 4 of 10 Meltagun-Guardsmen yesterday evening.

I'll paint the Chaos Sorcerer of Nurgle next for a change to all the Guardsmen painted in the passed days.
