Obliterators & Iron Apostle

After a long painting session last night, I can now present you the 3 finished Obliterators. It was quite difficult choosing the colour for their skin, but I think this greyish purple gives them a nicely unhealthy look.

And let me introduce another protagonist of my army to you: Iron Apostle Tsjuder

Sure, a Dark Apostle wouldn't fit into my army or even the legion regarding the fluff. But in my army, the guy incites the daemons in the warmachines and "blesses" his brothers' wargear before a battle. The Dark Apostle's rules are simply perfect for my current army list, where he leads a big squad of CSM on foot.

  1. I love the twist for the dark apostle! And the hammer is very fitting for IWs. I've also been using purple as my daemonic flesh, I find it contrasts well with the metallic and yellow strips. Where did the backpack top piece for you Iron Apostle come from?

  2. Thank you very much. I tested several colours for their skin, and this one had the best contrast to the rest of the models, like you said.

The top piece of the back pack is made of two trophy racks from the Chaos Terminators with additional bitz. Maybe even the Chaos Terminator Lord box, but I don't know for sure.
