A Handful of Cultists

It's still early in the morning here but, nevertheless, I have a quick update for you before I'll be off for a weekend full of studying: a handful of Cultists. The pics didn't come out as well as I hoped, but you should be able to grasp the essentials. ;)
Read you next week!

For Law And Order

I'm planning on playing my Lost and Damned at the next 1,500 pts tournament. I'll be playing a totally new army list with a 30 men strong mob + Commissar, 2 Veteran Squads, 3(!) Leman Russes, 1 Hellhound, and my Basilisk. Thus, I found it necessary to build and paint some more traitors.

Two days ago, I examined the Cultist sprues of the new starter box and found the minis damn cool. So I snatched them and the first guy I painted was the one with the cool trench coat. He received two minor conversions and now the creed "The one with the mightiest beard is the boss" applies. ;) Welcome the new Commissar!

Next up will be my Hellhound and Basilisk and after that some of the last Daemons for my commission army.

After The 4th Battleground Ratisbona

I can happily announce that our annual Warhammer 40k tournament with 100 participants is over. In terms of gaming I had quite the bad luck, I had 4 losses and 1 draw. Although I finished 90th, my overall friendly opponents made all those matches really enjoyable.

But in hobby terms, I was that much luckier: I was awarded the trophy for the 2nd Best Painted Army and the Fluff Prize which featured a set of cards for the general and Chaos psychic powers.

In my Picasa Webalbum you can see lots of photos I took:

And here's my army on its display base I built on Friday and painted on Saturday evening:
